Illinois needed a new, ambitious tourism campaign
Architecture, blues, art, public parks, comedy, theater, and iconic politicians were all considered when we chased a line that could capture all Illinois has to offer. The Middle of Everything was born but it needed an Illinois icon to deliver it. The scripts passed the Jane Lynch test and she agreed to direct and appear in our boastful campaign.
I wrote and directed a pitch video to win the biz
We wanted to prove we were the Illinoisiest agency in Chicago so we wrote and recorded an original song. Then we captured our team lip-syncing it in a charming video.
